Description Michal Svec 2005-10-11 18:30:25 UTC
Version: 0.10.3 (using KDE 3.4.2 Level "b" , SUSE 10.0)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-15-default

There is a difference in size of a contact tip and its account tip. The latter is reduced (not resized according to the longest item) and it looks quite weird. Seems like it's not a protocol specific (tested with ICQ and GW).

So you want to prevent to wrap ?

This may looks ugly if there is very long name.

(anyway, if we want to fix that, we need to change some strings, and it is too late for KDE 3.5)
Comment 4 Michal Svec 2005-10-15 10:21:31 UTC
Well, I'd probably prevent wrapping if possible, even a really long name wouldn't look so bad IMHO. I can't see any need for new strings (isn't it just a change of same arguments?), but you're probably the one to know better :)
Comment 5 Olivier Goffart 2005-10-24 17:01:32 UTC
it is a new string because we have to add a "<nobr>" in a translated string
Comment 6 Will Stephenson 2007-11-16 11:26:11 UTC
Will review all [string] bugs once message freeze is lifted for 4.1.
