Description Willi Richert 2005-10-01 12:56:00 UTC
Version: 1.8.2 (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

The vcards of emails constructed by Microsoft Office Outlook 11 are not displayed if the email is in the Inbox folder. If I click on the vcard I get a dialog saying that the vcard cannot be displayed properly with two buttons: "previous card" and "next card". If I click on one of them the whole kontact application crashes.

After deletion, the vcard of the mail that now lies in the Thrash folder is properly displayed.

Can you reproduce this crash with the applications from KDE 3.5?

don't show buttons "Next/Previous Card" if mAddresseeList.empty() ("Failed to
parse vCard.")
Comment 3 Thomas McGuire 2007-08-14 18:50:19 UTC
Can you attach such a problematic vCard?
Comment 4 Will Stephenson 2007-08-21 10:06:07 UTC
Karol: see above comment :)
Comment 5 Bram Schoenmakers 2007-12-09 23:45:41 UTC
Without a backtrace we cannot fix the actual bug. Karol's patch just hides it.
Comment 6 Bram Schoenmakers 2008-04-09 13:19:07 UTC
Without more data we cannot do much. Reopen if you have backtraces or vCards which reveal more details.
