Version:           2.2.1 (using KDE 3.4.2, Kubuntu Package 4:3.4.2-0ubuntu4 )
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.12-8-k7-smp

Juk has recently stopped supporting Musicbrainz quereying with MP3 file.  Ogg Vorbis files work correctly, and an accurate list of matches is returned.  When looking for matches on mp3 files, juk quietly complains "Error connecting to MusicBrainz server."

I have:
libmusicbrainz.so.2.0.1 (2.1.1-3ubuntu3)
libtunepimp.so.2.0.0  (0.3.0-2ubuntu7)

Currently running ubuntu breezy (which is unstable), but the bug was there in ubuntu hoary.  As this bug only affects mp3 files I would assume that there is a library version mismatch.

Please see the comments at the end of bug 93266, as Kubuntu's (and I suppose by extension Ubuntu's) musicbrainz package does not work with MP3 files due to patent issues.
