Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux It is not immediately clear what the difference is between the 'OK' and 'Save' buttons in the printer driver settings dialog. Then changing settings, users seem to be used to pressing the 'OK' button to confirm and store the new settings. However, this dialog does *not* store the new settings, they are forgotten as soon as the application is closed. Please remove the 'Save' button and place a checkbox called 'Make these the default settings', which should be checked be default.
The checkbox would require to click OK (which closes the dialog). But I may want to ...set up a new default set of options, but ...print the current job differently. But I agree: the current labeling of the buttons is not the best. Maybe we find a better one?
KDEPrint is obsolete, unmaintained and will never be revived. Closing all open bugs.
