Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.2) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages In media:/ the hard disk names are the size of them instead the mountpoint. It's annoying :S Here I see "10G Media", "1.0K Media" "4.3G Media", ... , "Floppy Drive" and "k3b data project" (<-- The name of the CD, it's perfect :D) I tried to delete konqueror personal configuration but The error continues there... :(
where did you get 3.4.2 packages for sarge?
1) You can rename from konqueror using F2 when a medium is selected. 2) The default name is given by HAL, and it gives a better name when the volume has a label, otherwise it is "Size Media", ...
#Tommi I use Debian Etch (testing) not Sarge (stable) and I got it from unstable (loosing my lovely kuake, because there isn't package of kuake for the new kde libraries). #Kevin Oh! Sorry, you are right, I don't remember how, but I tried to rename them and didn't work, but now with F2 it works. Ummm, HAL, I have to investigate how to not see a extended and a swap partition in media:/ Thanks :D
