Version: (using KDE Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources Not sure if this qualifies as a bug; this is my first artwork related bug report. Anyway... Kopete has only a few toolbar icons by default, which is great. But the icons to display empty groups and offline users look pretty much like a random choice of some stock icons. Each time I click the magnifier, it feels like a search dialog is going to pop up. Maybe both icons should contain two objects (person icons/folder icons), one in saturated color, the other blurred. Much like the "kdmconfig" icon, but with a gray or pale green translucent thingy instead of the blue one. This would resemble the resulting appearance of the contact list and it's also more meaningful by itself.
If you can draw the icon that would be perfect
Created attachment 12788 [details] Suggestion for the show-online+offline-contacts button
Fred, your suggestion-icon looks great and its purpose is as clear as possible. Kopete should use it! But of-course one can always find something to be nitpicking about: Since the action-description is "show offline users" (the object is "the offline users"), I think it is more logical to put the object (represented by the desaturated figure) in the foreground. (It's just a thought; open for discussion; you may disagree ;-) )
The "show offline users" has been redrawn by the oxygen team. I'm closing this. If you don't like the current Icon, please open a bug report against oxygen. thanks!
