3.5-beta1 will show content but there is no scrollbar.
oke, the scrollbar does also not appear in the forum on the same website. go here: http://www.fcgroningen.nl/ go to "interactief" (in the menu on the left) go to "forum" (in the submenu on the left) click on forum login with pass/login bugtest/bugtest click on FCG Algemeen (for example) click on a topic that has more then 20 replies. You will see that it shows only the first 10/15 replies and the rest of the content is not showed. There is no scrollbar to scroll down and see the rest of the content of the topic. Really weird! I don't know html well, but page includes css style html { margin: 0px; padding: 0px; height: 100%; overflow:hidden;} And spec says: "overflow:hidden. The overflowing content is completely hidden, not accessible to the user." <URL: http://www.quirksmode.org/css/overflow.html> I tested page with firefox & opera, both allow page scrolling.
Still valid in KDE 3.5.4.
Probably related to this bug: For some reason Konqueror 3.5.4 doesn't show a scrollbar if you visit https://www.onlineaccommodation.soton.ac.uk however, if you resize konqueror, it shows webpage correctly with the scroll bar.
Wow! lots of issues in one bug report :( Regardless I tested the ones I could reproduce. First the original issue: This does fixed. Going to the site http://www.fcgroningen.nl/index.php?m1=3&m2=61 causes konqueror to request me to allow it to download a shockwave file. If I reject it, the site fails to load. Accepting it seems to work... sorta. The site is taking an excessive time to load, greater then 4 minutes. This does not occur in firefox or opera. (Please note this includes waiting for konqueror to display the 3rd column of images) The forums bug: I'm unable to reproduce this as I'm unable to follow the steps provided to completion following the steps provided I don't know if login worked or not. Regardless I was unable to get into the last step. Finally the last issue: I'm unable to test this as there is a known bug in qt that prevents ssl from working. KDE and the majority of packages compiled using gcc 4.3.0.
