OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.13

i print a pdf from kpdf but kjobviewer does not show a pagenumber (26 pages) nor kind of progress ("2 of 26 printed" or "XX% printed") -- only and ever "0", regardless the program i print from and the type of the document to print. to know how much is printed i have every time to leave the room and go upstairs -- but can't determine neither progress nor estimated end from kjobviewer.
