Version: 3.4.91 (using KDE 3.4.91 (beta1, >= 20050910), compiled sources) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.7 How to Reproduce: 1. download this file http://linux-newbie.sunsite.dk/exports/lnag_html.zip 2. extract the lnag_html.zip file 3. now the lnag.html file is in ~/html folder 4. open with konqueror 5. you can observe that lnag.html (1.3mb file) loads very slowly, around 25kb to 125kb per second. 6. where as other text browsers links or lynx load the file instantly. it really feels slow to just load a 1.3 mb file??? Expected Behavior: The file should get loaded with the maximum available internet and/or disk *bandwidth*, thanks.
The file is parsed as it is loaded because it is shown before finished loading. That's why it isn't loaded at the max possible throughput. I loaded it at 250 kB/s. I don't think this is a bug.
