Description Degand Nicolas 2005-09-16 19:57:57 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.4.2, Debian Package 4:3.4.2-3 (testing/unstable))
Compiler: Target: x86_64-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.12-1-amd64-k8

While working on a chat application, we met an issue with konqueror (3.4.2, we did not test with SVN).

We embed awebpage in an objother browsers (IE, Firefox and Opera) works correctly. But when refreshing, Konqueror redirects the user to the webpage in the object tage.

We created a simplified testcase here :

Oops. I mangled the report. It should have been :

We embed a webpage in an object tag in another webpage. The object tag is refreshed by a javascript. While other browsers (IE, Firefox and Opera) works correctly. But when refreshing, Konqueror redirects the user to the webpage in the object tage.

Thanks for the report.
Comment 3 James Spahlinger 2008-04-19 11:03:47 UTC
This bug still exists in kde 4.0.3 exactly as the bug was reported.

Using Gentoo Linux ~x86 (testing in gentoo lingo). KDE and the majority of packages compiled using gcc 4.3.0.

Also, a second note, I should have placed this in my original comment, but to help searching a '[testcase]' should be prepended to the title. Thanks.

Thanks for the retesting, and good timing, since I am collecting a list of issues related to .location. This one's quite odd...

There hasn't been any activity on this report for some time. Please check if the issue is still valid for Konqueror 4.8.4 or later. Thank you.
