Description japc 2005-09-15 14:00:08 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

It would be nice to have a keyboard shortcut or dcop or both to open a New Window on a konsole, similar to what we already have for New Session (tab).

The shortcut will have to wait for KDE4 since it is a new feature.

You can use the following to create a new Konsole window.
% dcopstart konsole

I think this is bug, because there is menu item which have no shortcut

Implemented in KDE 4. Ctrl+Shift+M creates a new window. (Ctrl+Shift+N is used for a new tab, so this seemed logical)
