Description Michael Williamson 2005-09-09 00:17:45 UTC
Version: 1.8.1 (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: GCC 3.4.4
OS: Linux

If I put a filter on my messages, and then I delete all of the messages from that filter, KMail will select some other message. Possibly the message after one of the messages that was deleted. This leaves the interface in an inconsitent state. The message I am viewing is not hilighted. I think that instead it should leave the message pane blank, i.e. that same behavior as when you view an empty. This would make the application more consistent and understandable.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
