Version:           current kde 3.5 branch (using KDE Devel)
Installed from:    Compiled sources
Compiler:          gcc 3.4 
OS:                Linux

Not tried on systems other than my laptop with synaptics touchpad (using synaptics driver, not [IM]PS/2) with both horizontal scroll and vertical.

In open and save file dialogs, both horizontal and vertical scroll wheel events affect horizontal scrolling, rather than vertical scroll wheel events changing the vertical scroll position.

As far as I can tell, scrolling works correctly in all other parts of KDE.

Scrolling works as expected in kde4 open/save dialogs with the synaptic driver here.
