Description Mohd Asif Ali Rizwaan 2005-08-25 20:25:36 UTC
Version:           0.8.0-beta1 (using KDE 3.4.90 (alpha1, >= 20050806), compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.4
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.7

it is very annoying and unintuitive to use MENUs to access the photos from my camera.

using: camera->argus dc-1510 is annoying me, cause, we can have a good big nice looking button in the Document viewing area itself.

Please consider having a "big nice button" called "Show Pictures in Digital camera" or something nice which means "view pictures in Camera".

thanks.

something like k3b or amarok "build collection" thing would look good with digikam.

People can have more than one camera. I don't think some big buttons in the "document viewing area" isn't a proper solution. I've just added a patch, so you can add your camera(-icon) to the toolbar, this should be as handy as your proposal.
