Description Sander Koning 2005-08-19 12:09:30 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

Omissions found while translating kcontrol_khtml.

General: The order in which the options are discussed is not the one in which they appear in the Control Center, and various options are not mentioned.

:39
"The first option you can enable on this page [...]"
It's the second option, the Bookmarks section (which is not discussed) precedes it now.

:51
"The next option is"
It's not, Tabbed Browsing has come in between.

:64
Before this paragraph, the option "Hide the tab bar when only one tab is open" should be discussed.
Should mention that this option, the next one (:73), and the five others that are not discussed in this doc, are available via the Advanced Options button, which opens a new dialog.
Furthermore, this option has probably been inverted between versions (doc seems to mention an option to open the new tab in front, while KControl offers the option to load them in the background).

:79
This option should be discussed after "Change cursor over links" (:51).
Description of "Middle click opens URL in selection" is missing.

:92
"Draw frame around non completely loaded images" should be discussed as well.

:129
"Under this tab [...]"
It is a separate entry in the Configuration list, and not really a tab in the Web Behavior window... (nitpick)

:199
"The checkboxes [...]"
There's only one checkbox in Global Settings.

:207 :278
"You can import policies from a file by clicking the <guilabel>Import...</guilabel> button. To save the current list to a compressed archive file, click the <guilabel>Export...</guilabel> button."
These buttons are not present on the page.

:309 -- :330
AdBlocK settings are not present in my 3.4.0.

:343
CPU priority, and domain-specific settings, should be discussed after this paragraph as well.

khtml settings has been changed a bit since KDE 3.4. Is this still valid for the KDE 4.2 documentation?
Comment 2 FiNeX 2009-01-31 16:21:12 UTC
@Sander: please, would you like to check the current documentation?
Comment 3 T.C. Hollingsworth 2011-12-08 11:20:14 UTC
This documentation has been vastly improved in the intervening years. If there are still any problems, please let us know.
