Installed from:    compiled sources
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3 20030304 (Apple Computer, Inc. build 1666)
OS:                Darwin (Power Macintosh) release 8.2.0

The asterisk key '*' doesn't print. It instead tries to change konsole sessions. Is this a keymapping issue? I saw a bug similar to this (95977) but it required editing konsole.cpp, which I did not compile from source (used fink). Is there a better solution than this?

Same symptom. Please paste the output of xev when you press the * key (on bug 95977).
