Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.2) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux I can't see the folder-article tree. When Akregator starts I am "stuck" on the About tab. Changing the view from menu bar displays the article tab. I can navigate from the "GO" menu, but not see where I am, what feed etc. I have to guess! I tried deleting the contents of .kde/share/apps/akregator all that did was display a blank "about" tab. Note, not the same as the About dialog from the help menu. How to reproduce. Sorry not sure, kinda just happened :-( $ kde-config --version Qt: 3.3.4 KDE: 3.4.2 kde-config: 1.0 I'm using Gentoo my emerge --info looks like this: Gentoo Base System version 1.6.13 Portage 2.0.51.22-r2 (default-linux/x86/2005.0, gcc-3.3.5-20050130, glibc-2.3.5-r0, 2.6.11-gentoo-r6 i686) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.11-gentoo-r6 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 1.80GHz dev-lang/python: 2.3.5 sys-apps/sandbox: 1.2.10 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.59-r6 sys-devel/automake: 1.4_p6, 1.5, 1.6.3, 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3, 1.9.5 sys-devel/binutils: 2.15.92.0.2-r10 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.18-r1 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.11-r2 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CBUILD="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-march=pentium4 -O2 -pipe" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/env /usr/kde/3.3/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/shutdown /usr/kde/3.4/env /usr/kde/3.4/share/config /usr/kde/3.4/shutdown /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/X11/xkb /usr/share/config /usr/share/texmf/dvipdfm/config/ /usr/share/texmf/dvips/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/platex/config/ /usr/share/texmf/xdvi/ /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-march=pentium4 -O2 -pipe" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoconfig distlocks sandbox sfperms strict" GENTOO_MIRRORS="ftp://pandemonium.tiscali.de/pub/gentoo/ ftp://mirrors.blueyonder.co.uk/mirrors/gentoo ftp://ftp.mirrorservice.org/sites/www.ibiblio.org/gentoo/ ftp://planetmirror.com/pub/gentoo/" LINGUAS="en en_GB zh_CN" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.uk.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="x86 X aac acpi alsa apm arts atm audiofile avi bash-completion bcmath berkdb bitmap-fonts bzlib canna cdb cdparanoia cdr cjk crypt cups curl directfb divx4linux doc dvb dvd dvdr dvdread eds emboss encode ethereal examples exif fam fastcgi fbcon flac foomaticdb fortran ftp gd gdbm ghoto2 gif gphoto2 gpm gstreamer gtk gtk2 icq imagemagick imlib immqt jpeg kde libg++ libwww mad mikmod mime mmx motif mp3 mpeg msn ncurses nls ogg oggvorbis opengl pam pdflib perl png python qt quicktime readline samba sdl shared sharedmem sockets speex spell sse ssl svga tcpd tetex tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts unicode usb vcd vorbis win32codecs wmf wxwindows xine xml2 xmms xv xvid zlib linguas_en linguas_en_GB linguas_zh_CN userland_GNU kernel_linux elibc_glibc" Unset: ASFLAGS, CTARGET, LANG, LC_ALL, LDFLAGS, PORTDIR_OVERLAY
Did this happen from the first start of akregator, or did it work correctly once? Are you sure that you haven't resized the article viewer manually to the max, hiding the article list? =) Could you provide a screenshot?
There was no further feedback, and nobody else confirmed the bug. I close it for now, reopen it if the problem still exists.
