Description Christopher Leaver 2005-08-13 20:22:45 UTC
Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
OS:                Linux

I can't see the folder-article tree. When Akregator starts I am "stuck" on the About tab. Changing the view from menu bar displays the article tab. I can navigate from the "GO" menu, but not see where I am, what feed etc. I have to guess!

I tried deleting the contents of .kde/share/apps/akregator all that did was display a blank "about" tab. Note, not the same as the About dialog from the help menu.

How to reproduce. Sorry not sure, kinda just happened :-(
$ kde-config --version
Qt: 3.3.4
KDE: 3.4.2
kde-config: 1.0

I'm using Gentoo
my emerge --info looks like this:

Did this happen from the first start of akregator, or did it work correctly once? Are you sure that you haven't resized the article viewer manually to the max, hiding the article list? =)
Could you provide a screenshot?

There was no further feedback, and nobody else confirmed the bug. I close it for now, reopen it if the problem still exists.
