Version: 1.5.2 (using KDE KDE 3.4.2) Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: gcc 3.4.3 OS: Linux If large amounts of text are output in a konsole window, causing scrolling, the bottommost line is handled incorrectly. Characters that extend all the way down, like 'q' or'g', leave a trace of single pixels behind them. If the amount of text written is large, those leftover pixels form a horizontal line. If the window is refreshed, the leftover pixels diappear.

Forgot to mention that the problem first showed up after uggrading qt-3.3.3 to qt-3.3.4 and kde-3.3.2 to kde-3.4.2.
Can you try a KDE 3.5.x version? 3.5.2 or 3.5.3 when it comes out. May be font and LC_ALL related...
Tried with 3.5.2, problem seems to be gone.
Thanks for checking - problem marked as fixed.
