Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.2) Installed from: Fedora RPMs For beginners that want to compile and install kdewebdev I suggest to add the make -f Makefile.cvs instruction available in the INSTALL file. Maybe add this little note in top of the file: Note: if you compile from the cvs you must run the make -f Makefile.cvs command to create the file ./configure.
It is in the README file. The INSTALL file is the generic file about how to use the configure and make system (the autoconf/automake system).
Those files are also for released tarballs. The make -f Makefile.cvs step is for Subversion users only and it's mentioned in the developers.kde.org site.
