Version:           3.4 (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS:                Linux

I use KHTML for a Kiosk Application. HTML-Page where called from the file:\\.
Is there any setting to enable Cookiess for the protocol file:\\?
Or a workaround. 
The same Application works fine with MS IE, alse under KDE3.1 (SUSE8.2)

Poke on the test case David requested. If you want local cookies to work, it would be great if you supplied a minimal snippet :)
