Description Andy Kelk 2005-07-28 17:19:40 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package
OS: Linux

Would it be possible to allow different accounts to have an override on the window grouping policy?

As an example, I like all my chats to be in different windows (on MSN, AIM, ICQ, etc) but I like my IRC chats to all appear together but tabbed.
It'd be useful to be able to set my global policy to "No grouping" and to have a specific policy for the IRC account of "Group all messages in the same chat window".

This is already somewhat possible. Select the "Group Messages from same Account in Chat Window", but maybe this is not what you want.

I would like to be able to do the same thing; in my case I normally like to have my chat windows grouped per-Group, but on my IRC accounts I'd like them to be grouped per-Account.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
