Version:           1.8.50 (using KDE 3.4.89 (>= 20050615), compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.4.4
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.11

I see from a previous bug that customisations cannot be kept when reinstalling from source. I'd like to request that this feature be implemented.
