Description Mikko 2005-07-26 10:15:04 UTC
Version: 1.4.1 (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: Slackware Packages

It would be very helpful if one could reconnect an existing association to another widget. Typically this is implemented so that you click on an association line, click and hold on an anchor in either end of the line, drag the anchor to another widget and release the mouse button.

An example of the current implementation in Umbrello: Let's say I have an activity diagram and I want to insert new activities between existing activities which are already connected to each other. After I have created the new activities, I have to delete the old connections and create new ones for the new activities. I also lose the labels on the original connections.

A small problem but really annoying while rearranging large diagrams.

quite useful but also quite hard to implement
