Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1) Installed from: Slackware Packages OS: Linux I'd like to see Konqueror close the window when I use the "Close tab" shortcut, if there is only a single tab left. This would allow me to use the same shortcut/mouse gesture to close non-multitab windows, like in Mozilla Firefox.
This has been discussed before. It's against the KDE human interface guideline.
I'd like to close last tab and leave a blank tab. It's useful to close the unwanted page and keep Konqueror open.
I'd like this behavior. Can you link to why it's against the guidelines, at least? I don't see why this couldn't be an option, for those who do want it.
"close tab" closing the window would be unexpected, and it seems more people requested that "close tab" leaves a blank page instead, cf bug 214378.
