Version:           1.2.0_devel (using KDE 3.4.0, compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.4.3
OS:                SunOS (sun4u) release 5.8

Markers are a convenient way to emphasize given events. Even though it is currently possible to have "dynamic" markers (set according to specific conditions) by defining an equation and using its output as source for the markers, it would be more straightforward to be able to type the expression directly in the marker definition line edit widget.
