Version: 1.3.2 (using KDE 3.3.2, (3.1)) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.6 (Debian 1:3.3.6-5) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.10-angie-1 I tried to generate some Java-Code from the UML class diagram. Whenever I click on "generate" nothing happens. I also do not know whether it is really possible to tell umbrello where my jdk lies. The help could not tell me anything about that. Please try to help me by adding a point to the KDE help (like: "Working with the different languages"), or something like that... Thanks for all! Hello Angelika, I guess you do not have to specify where your JDK is. If you use the Code Generation Wizard, you can choose the directory where the code is written to. On the tab "General" of the wizard's second screen, there is a field called "Folders". After generation, you will find the .java files in the specified directory. Does that help? Best regards, Zeno
Hello Zeno, > On the tab "General" of the wizard's second screen, there > is a field called "Folders". I already found that. My folder lies in my home directory under Java/test/umbrello. > After generation, you will find the .java files in the specified > directory. I tried it by "Generate All Code" and it worked. Before I had made the settings with the wizard, but could not generate the code with the help of the wizard. Now something seems to have happened, though I really do not know what... The results lie in my folder now... I have tried it many times before, but any time I just got some java files for byte, int , string and so on. My question is: Is it a bug or a feature? ;) Ciao, Angelika Schulz. -- Zwei Dinge sind unendlich, das Universum und die menschliche Dummheit, aber bei dem Universum bin ich mir noch nicht ganz sicher. --- Albert Einstein ---
> My question is: Is it a bug or a feature? ;) Oh, it's most definitely a bug :)
