Description Marc Bianciotto 2005-06-24 22:30:37 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

The "export to html" export option of kontact is full of neat options for selecting what is exported. On the contrary, the export to icalendar option exports straight. Shouldnt they share the same export interface in order to choose what's needed ? It would be great!

I second this wish request. In particular, I use a nice php icalendar parsing package (phpicalendar). It would be really helpful if I could set up korganizer to automatically export nultiple .ics files when changes are made to my schedule.

For example, I might split into export a different calendar for each category, or based on keywords. But something at least as complex as HTML export (complete with saving to remote URLs) would be EXCELLENT.

Ok, so a little more digging in the program give me a solution: you can create a calendar that is automatically saved as a remote file.

Create a new calendar, and chose the type "Calendar in Remote File". You can then specify the remote URL for the file, and how often it is saved.

This bug should be closed!
