Description P. Pearson 2005-06-23 05:31:46 UTC
Version: 1.7.1 (using KDE 3.3.1-3.10 Red Hat, Red Hat Linux 4.0)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.3 20041212 (Red Hat 3.4.3-9.EL4)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.9-11.EL

When I try to build (compile) a file in my home directory, kile is successful. If, however, the file is in a subdirectory, kile does not build (compile) successfully. LaTeX is working fine, which I have verified by manually compiling the file in a terminal window. Perhaps this is a configuration error or a bug. By the way, the Konsole at the bottom of kile does not change to the subdirectory when the build button is clicked (I think that it used to do this with my old version of kile).

Can you perhaps send a test file that shows the problem? I compile LaTeX documents from sub directories all the time, so it is possible of course.

best,
Jeroen
