Description Candid Dauth 2005-06-21 16:26:33 UTC
Version: 3.4.1 (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

It would be great if there were two new settings in the Konqueror preferences:
- Always open links/forms in same window/tab
- Always open popup windows in same window/tab

Some links on sites that are not very user-friendly have a target="_blank" or similar in their link or form tags. Such a setting should cause that these target attributes are ignored in general. Please remember that also target="framename" could open a new window if the frame “framename” does not exist. (should be ignored, too)

For popup windows it would be the same—the content of the popup would be shown in the current window/tab instead of in a new one.
