Description Blizzard Coldrain 2005-06-21 14:31:43 UTC
Version: v0.8.4 (using KDE 3.4.0 Level "b" , SUSE 9.3)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.4-21.7-default

When I am saving a file bigger than 2,5 GB with KGET on FAT32 drive, the program forbids the access to read-only and only kget have access to write the file, until it's paused.. then I must reboot the machine in order to resolve this problem and use my drive again as read-write.

Does it happen on other filesystems? I'm not sure we're doing anything special.

And I'm not sure if FAT32 can handle files larger than 2 GB at all.

I don't think that this is a KGet problem. Also see #112807.
