Description Jorge Salamero Sanz 2005-06-18 16:51:29 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.3.5-3

my ibook2.2 running self compiled kde 3.4.1 debian packages can't wake up if i sleep it with kded running. sleeps as usual but when i wake up, it keeps forever in the kernel messages at the awake.
i've found that if i restart dbus-qt-1 i can sleep and wake up without problems, but i after this restart kded isn't running.

bencer@guffy:~$ kded -v
Qt: 3.3.4
KDE: 3.4.1
KDE Daemon: $Id: kded.cpp 380816 2005-01-21 15:36:26Z waba $

this call of bug you better discuss at bugs.debian.org as several components of the distribution are involved - including kernel and dbus.
