Whatever causes this (reentrancy problem) also causes #102470. I wonder why it would still happen, because I just got rid of all processEvents() in Kontact and there are no relevant ones in KOrganizer or KAddressbook. Can you please retest with th 3.4 branch or trunk? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 102470 ***
