Version: Build from CVS 2 days ago (using KDE KDE 3.3.0) Installed from: RedHat RPMs Compiler: Gcc 3.4.2 in Fedora Core 3 OS: Linux I saw similar bug was reported with bug number 97303 but I see with bug present with the current CVS build (0.8 experimental) may be it just crept in again. Please check. I am not able to save any image through Image editor.

we are not accepting bug reports on the experimental branch yet.
btw, do you have imlib2 development package installed?
Yes I do have that installed. That is a dependency for digiKam to install so I downloaded the RPM and installed it while building digiKam. No problem here . I've saved an image with and without crop and it works. Mdk 10.2, digikam 0.8 experimental, svn today libimlib2_1-devel-1.2.0-3mdk libimlib2_1-1.2.0-3mdk
can you svn up and run it again and let me know of the terminal messages. there is no "fix" in place, just some debug message printing PS: please avoid sending html messages to bugs.kde.org
