Description Thomas Tanghus 2005-06-03 11:05:26 UTC
Version: 1.4.1 (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages
OS: Linux

Kind of the same as bug/wish #79220. I would love to have support for opening *.zuml files (zipped *.xmi). Most people in my company uses Poseidon which saves its files in that format, so it would be a great help for me - and a lot of other people I guess.

Please close the report, compressed XMI files are already supported. It
might be that it is not possible to load Poseidon files, but this is another
issue.

The should I just have given the wish a different title or does it mean that
you don't find it a relevant feature? Support for bzip2 and gzip is great - I
just need it to support xmi compressed with "normal" zip. Maybe if you could
give me a hint to what file I should edit I could come up with a patch?

You'll be able to read in the model info at best -
diagram import is not implemented in umbrello.

OK - I wasn't aware of that. Thought that the xmi format was the same in the
two programs. I'll close the bug for now as I'm probably not able to help in
implementing diagram import.
Thanks for your responses.

Closing the wish as it wouldn't make sense to implement as of now.
