Description Unknown 2005-06-01 09:44:00 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.3.5
OS: Linux

If I klick on a ToDo and commit the appearing ToDo window with OK than this ToDo item is shown in the timeless event part of today's date. After opening the plugin configuration with "Preferences" -> "Plugin Configuration" and commiting with "OK" the wrong ToDo items are disappearing. (I don't know the english menu names, so I just translated the german ones.)

This quirk just show up on today's date. Furthermore there are one current incompleted ToDo in my view and two that are overdue.

I don't think the plugin configuration has nothing to do with this. I think you have the same effect when you do View->Update.
Moreover, I don't see this bug happening in KDE 3.3.2. Do you give certain properties to the todo? Recurrence maybe?

Yes you are right View->Update has the same effect. No, I don't have specified by the ToDo items a recurrence.

I copied the three items shown up today from my original to another file and added new ToDo items. The problem appears the first time right after starting korganizer and after loading the calendar. But not after refreshing the view. In my original calendar it always shows up without restarting korganizer.

I can confirm this bug even with almost current 3.5.
It happens reproduceable when I create a new Todo by entering the text in the Textfield above the todo list on the left side of the agenda view, that this currently created Todo appears as overdue item in the all-day area agenda view of Today. Double clicking it in the all-day area brings up the correct dialog, and shows that this Todo does _not_ have a due date.

Interestingly, when I create a new SUB-Todo, a similar thing happens, but the newly created todo is placed exactly ONE WEEK in the future in the all-day agenda view.

I can confirm this bug in kde 3.5 beta2 too.
when switching between views (next/last week) the todo item disappears from todays agenda. but it shouldn't even appear before while there is no end date set.

Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created
korganizer-devel mailing list.

The issue cannot be reproduced in KDE 4.2. Closing this report.
