Description Tim Okrongli 2005-05-31 10:46:40 UTC
Version: 0.17 (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
OS: Linux

Having Konversation write all sessions in a given channel into one single log file is a PITA when trying to archive and search through the sessions. It would be great if there was an option for Konversation to create a new logfile named <servername><channelname><date>.<extension> every time a channel is joined and there is no file with that name already.
Comment 1 Anonymous Coward 2006-11-28 07:05:29 UTC
If this is implemented, Konversation should automatically convert old logs to the new perferred format.
Comment 2 Nils Kneuper 2007-07-08 12:30:40 UTC
I would love to have a way to automatically split the logs on a by-day basis, not only on login. In general some more options regarding the logs would be really great to have.
