Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
OS:                Linux

katepart save it's configuration to application config-file.

Kate saves to katerc.
kwrite saves to kwriterc.
konqueror+katepart saves to konquerorrc.

So if I changed kate's katepart configuraton,
I need to change all configurations of applications uses katepart.
 
Please save it to unique one file.

That's wanted, you don't want to enforce all apps to use same katepart config, sorry.
