Description David Hardstone 2005-05-22 11:37:25 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

When running as Super User in Konqueror, clicking a file opens up Kwrite to edit it. If works at first but after a while, when you have opened quite a few files, it comes up with a message similar to: "Konqueror cannot open Kwrite" and the only way of getting it to work again is by rebooting the system.
This problem does not seem to happen when I browse as a normal user but it may do seeing as I don't edit many files as the normal user.

I noticed this problem too, on KDE 3.3.2 (Gentoo). When I run konqueror from 'kdesu' and click on an image, it often says it could not launch Kuickshow.

It's weird, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I suspect it's a konqueror problem, not a problem with KWrite or Kuickshow.

I think it is a Konqeror problem too now.
I also upgraded to version 3.4 and I still have the problem.

Here we go, assign it to Konqueror than.
