Description Natalie 2005-05-13 11:05:40 UTC
Version: KOffice 1.3.5 (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

Menu Insert:
Insert - Variables
change to:
Insert - Fields

Now we have fixed variables & variable variables, which is rather weird.

Additional wish:
Add a separator line between User info and Document info

I agree. OpenOffice (and therefore OASIS) also use "fields", so this would be consistent.
This will have to wait for after 1.4 though.

BTW, in the dialog Configure KWord there is a checkbox "Display fieldcode" on the tab Misc.

fixed typo on summary

the terminology Field is used by both OpenOffice and Microsoft Office so this seems like a good change

presumably this only requires a string fix and is only waiting on a patch?

We no longer have variable variables in svn. So this is no longer applicable. Sorry for waiting so long.
