When will there be a release/version that works with AMD64 (X86-64)?  Currently
working with dual Opteron boxes and need to check for memory leaks.  Is a beta
available?

See valgrind.org for instructions on how to check out the current code from Subversion.  Make sure you use the valgrind.org repository, not the KDE one.
And beware that it's mostly alpha-quality code.
