Description Brian Keats 2005-05-06 17:59:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

When I print from any kde application to a remote cups printer (ipp), I get an infinite number of copies whenever I request more than 1 copy, and collate is selected. This does not happen when printing locally from the same verison of kde, same distro.

I can verify this in KDE 3.4.1 running in kubuntu hoary.

Whenever I print N copies, collated or not, to a remote cups server I always get N*N copies of the document. The remote server is running an up-to-date debian sarge with no problems serving windows clients.

This is a known bug in an older version of CUPS (can't remember the exact version).
