Description S. Burmeister 2005-05-04 08:03:17 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Id did a clean install of my distro d/l the MS truetype fonts, re-compiled freetype with bytecode enabled and siabled ant-alias. All applications now had clean fonts, except konqueror, which had them in the GUI, but not on webpages.
The reason for this was that konqueror > settings > fonts still had Nimbus set for all font-types but standard, which was set to Sans Serif.
To avoid this, the settings should default to (Sans) Serif, instead of Nimbus. Fixed is the only exception, obviously.

As I did not have those problems with SuSE 9.1,2 and before, I guess that KDE changed some things in this matter?
