Description Tiago Saboga 2005-05-01 21:33:36 UTC
Version: 1.2.3 (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

I think it would be fine to change the tags when the file is read-only. I have a lot of songs I hear from someone else's home directory and I would like these songs to be correctly classified by artist/title, but I can't write to these files. The only work-around I found until now is to copy the files, but it's a waste of disk space. And it could be useful too if there are plans to add support for removable media (and I would really love that! - should I fill another wishlist for that?).

thanks.
