Description barr 2005-04-28 14:27:54 UTC
Version: 1.8 (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package
Compiler: gcc 3.4.3
OS: Linux

When out of disk space on /tmp mails are dowloaded *and removed from the POP server* but appear as empty (No Subjet, Date: Unkown, Author: Unknown, etc, ...) in the Inbox folder.

No warnings are issued.

Index file got corrupted. Workaround, to recover your mails:
quit kmail
rm ~/Mail/.inbox.index*
launch kmail again

If you didn't use kmail before 1.8, the path might be
~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/Mail/.inbox.index*

Unfortunately empty mails are not recovered even after removing the Folder index files (.inbox.index* in my case).
