Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0) Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: gcc-3.4.3 Compiler compiled from sources OS: Linux I use my konsole windows with no menu bar and no tab bar, with the scroll bar on the right. Currently, I have my settings to produce an 80x40 konsole. Instead, it gives me an 80x41 console, and almost enough space underneath that for another line. It looks inelegant to me, I'd like to have the bottom line of addressable screen be flush with the bottom of the window, as it was in earlier versions of KDE. If I resize a konsole to 80x40 using the right-button menu, it resizes the window and displays the text "80x41" in the middle of it. So, it appears to realize that it's not doing what I asked it to do.
Looks like it is the tabbar hiding which causes this oddity.
This is no longer a meaningful bug, as many changes have gone into konsole since 3.4.0. There is now no longer a menu option to choose the size explicitly, so the window's actual size cannot disagree with that setting.
