Description Ali Akcaagac 2005-04-15 02:20:45 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc 3.4.3
OS: Linux

As you can see in the two provided screenshots below Konqueror seem to not be able to react correctly with some launchers. I expect that 'Applications' when processed through Konqueror are being loaded when clicked on them. E.g. When I click on 'Kate' icon inside Konqueror I'd like to have 'Kate' loaded and getting a Dialog. Same applies with 'Settings', there is also the question whether there are other launchers that might react similar. Could this be fixed please ?

It works flawlessly as long as you don't assign any application to open foo.desktop files. But sure it would be nice to see application links in applications:/ and settings:/ behave normal (i.e. starting applications) even if the user has created such an assignment.
