  If you are familiar with Styles in &Microsoft;
  <application>Word</application>, &kword; text styles
  perform the same functions.

  - hmmm ... If you are not familiar with Styles in ...
&kword; text styles do not perform the same functions. :)

  Maybe something like this?:
  If you are familiar with Styles in &Microsoft;
<application>Word</application>, *you will notice that *
&kword; text styles perform the same functions.

styles.docbook:24
As an example, if we look at a section of a document,
and assign different text styles to appropriate parts :

  - space between "parts" and ":"
Somehow I feel theis sentence is not finished, or that
the sentence below the image should continue in a
  different way:
... If we look ..., and assign ... *then dumdumdum*
Or do I read this completely wrong?

styles.docbook:72
To change the text style of text, first, <link
linkend=\"select\">select the text</link> you want the
  changes to apply to.

    - Would it be possible to add that when you want to
change the text style of an entire paragraph, it is
enough to place the text cursor in that paragraph and
  select the new style.
When only a portion of the paragraph has to be changed,
  that portion must be selected.

I added this info in the translation.

styles.docbook:79
This will show the list of available text styles,
select the text style from the list.

  - This could be removed. Three lines lower, the same
  info is provided again.

styles.docbook:103
There are two major ways to create a new text style:

  - Are there other/minor ways to create a new text style?

styles.docbook:106 & 107
Create a text style based on another text style using a
  dialog.

Format a block of text to the desired format, then create
a text style based on that text.

  - This can be a bulleted list.

styles.docbook:116
This will bring up a dialog box

  - Missing period (or colon).

styles.docbook:129
It will assign it a temporary name [New Style Template
  (8).]

  - *].*

styles.docbook:140
Use the buttons labeled ... to create the text style.

  - Use the *tabs*
  - The next sentence reads:
"Click OK to create your new text style."
Use the tabs ... to modify/change/? the text style. (?)

styles.docbook:216
For more information see the section entitled <link
  linkend=\"tab-stops\">Tab Stops</link>.

  - The title of the section is: Using Tab Stops.

styles.docbook:224
  Create Style From Selection

  - Create Style From Selection...

styles.docbook:309
  ... Aligns ...
