Version: unknown (using KDE 3.4.0, Debian Package 4:3.4.0-0ubuntu3 (3.1)) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-8ubuntu2) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.10-5-386 For events recurring monthly (such as paying rent), the date of recurrence is coming out wrong. For instance: The procedure I used: Create a new event in the Kontact calendar by double-clicking on a date/time. Enter event name. Go to the "Recurrence" tab and enable recurrence. Choose "monthly", "Recur every [1] month", and "Recur on the [5th] day". Hit OK or Apply. When I do this, the event shows up in my calendar, two days earlier than scheduled. If scheduled for the 5th day of each month, it shows up on the 3rd day of each month. If I double-click the event to edit it again, "Recur on the [3rd] day" is selected. Saving again moves it back to the 1st, and so on. If the 1st is selected, it ends up on the last day of the month. The displayed event in the calendar seems OK; I think the date of recurrence is just getting stored or selected wrong.
I'm having the same problem though when I make an event recurring, the original event disappears. The event recurrence in the months after are 2 days early.
Hi, this bug has already been fixed in current version, nevertheless thanks for reporting. Ciao, Tobias
