Version: 1.0 (using KDE KDE 3.4.0) Installed from: Gentoo Packages I'm subscribed to http://derstandard.at/?page=rss&ressort=Webstandard feed, when I open an article in a new tab of akregator it's impossible to open a javascript window. Reproduce: - set browse identification for "derstandard.at" to "Internet Explorer 6.0 on Windows XP" - add http://derstandard.at/?page=rss&ressort=Webstandard feed to akregator - open an article in the akregator tab - click on "posten" (nothing happens) when I open the article in konqueror, it works without problems.
Reproducable. The problem with that is, how much browser should Akregator be?
I think, it should work as konqueror browser window as any other too. So maybe it should also include the addressbar. Links should be opened like konqueror does (in new tab or new window). Cause a lot of article links have the possibility to post your own opinion there and it wouldn't be very intuitiv to have to open a new window if I want to leave a message there. just my opinion ;)

do you know what the last working version is?

I agree this is a problem as I can subscribe to KDEapps, but can't open the screenshots. I'm not sure what the resolution, but this is definitely a bug as it limits the effectiveness of Akregator.
Is this bug fixed in kde3.5 beta2? I can open a popup with middle mouse click, don't know how it's working on 2-button-mouse. Just wanted to ask if this bug can be considerd as closed?
KDE 3.5.3, not fixed middle mouse works for normal popup (<a href=... target="_blank">) for opening into external browser (but left click does nothing, see bug 107256) but javascript:window.open(...) links don't work with any button...
Confirming: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdepim/+bug/119416 I just tried it as well, and there is no opening a javascript link, even with 3.5.7
Any status on this issue?
opening JS links works since 4.1.0
