Version:           necunoscut (using KDE 3.3.2,  (3.1))
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-8)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.10-1-k7

Open an app that has button an tabs(Konqueror with close button on tabs,KDevelop),right-press that close button,move your pointer outside the tab and release the button. Now the close button remains highlighted :)

confirmed in kde 3.5.10, but not in kde 4.1. So this is a kde 3.5 bug

"Hover close buttons on tabs" are unmaintained.
